March 28, 2024 Fakarava is an atoll. As such, there I no elevation. I walked to the lighthouse. It was way too hot and humid so I was done by lunch. This is not a warning lighthouse. Instead, the could build a fire on top to signal for help from nearby islands Gray-backed tern

March 25, 2024 I rented a scooter and spent the next four hours driving every paved road on the island. The early morning approach to Huahine Over the centuries, they have developed this unique system of fish guides. They just scoop the fish out of the water. View on the sailaway
